Helen Donovan

Helen became Chair of the Self‑Care Forum in 2019, having served as a Trustee since 2015. A Registered Nurse and Queen’s Nurse specialising in public health, she has worked across general nursing, midwifery, practice nursing, health visiting and specialist health protection, with a strong focus on immunisation. Formerly the Royal College of Nursing’s professional lead for public health, she is a senior lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire and now works independently, providing education and consultancy. She is also an adviser in nursing for C3 Collaborating for Health.
