Catherine is a Director of a Community Interest Company, Coaching for Unpaid Carers CIC, which she founded with her co-director to make coaching more widely available to unpaid carers and to make the case for coaching to be considered an effective way of supporting carers. She was a Lay Member with City and Hackney CCG from 2014 – 2021 (with a brief for Patient and Public Involvement, Equalities and Sustainability) and is currently involved in the development of a City and Hackney Integrated Care system, focusing on Equalities and Diversity, Health Inequalities and Sustainable Development. As a former carer and someone with a disability, she uses coaching to support unpaid carers and people with disabilities to build confidence and motivation, develop resilience, and achieve success in all aspects of their lives, including developing the confidence to prioritise and manage their own health and wellbeing. She has a long-standing personal and professional interest in health and is committed to improving health outcomes for individuals and for society as a whole.
