Patricia Schartau

Patricia graduated from Oxford University (BA in Psychology), Cambridge University (PhD in Clinical Psychology) and King’s College London (MBBS) and completed her GP training at the London Royal Free Hospital scheme.

She works as a salaried GP in London, holds a permanent clinical lectureship position in Primary Care at University College London, is a UK NIHR School of Primary Care Research lead and the pan London Academic GP Training Programme Director. Patricia is an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur fellow, a trustee of the Sexual Advice Association, sits on the advisory board of healthcare start-ups and on the RCGP Scientific Advisory board. Her research interests are primarily in self-driven digital healthcare.
