I own a consultancy that specialises in helping pharmaceutical companies switch their medicines for self care application. I am a pharmacist with over 25 years experience in the medicines industry and have worked with companies such as Boots, Boehringer, Pfizer and Novartis, I championed the “first in class” switch of tamsulosin for Boehringer Ingelheim. It is obvious to me that most drug companies have untapped potential in their legacy prescription drug portfoilios but they don’t know its there or how to release it and some are afraid of the risk.
