Wendy Nicholson MBE is Deputy Chief Nurse Children, Young People & Families and Deputy Head of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Public Health Nursing and Midwifery. She has held a range of regional and national roles including working at the Department for Health, and regional government. Wendy is a nurse educator with vast experience in Higher Education, she has worked across health & social care in a variety of roles. At Public Health England she leads the work for children, young people and families, working across government to improve health and wellbeing outcomes. Wendy also supports global health through nurse leadership through her work with WHO and she is currently supporting the WHO and Unicef global framework for child health.
